Anyone else have their order canceled? I ordered last night, got an initial confirmation e-mail, and then nothing. I checked just now to see what was going on with the order and the Staples website says the order was canceled. I called them and they said some of my info couldn't be verified, so seems some sort of fraud detection system? Anyway, I've ordered again, fingers crossed it goes through this time. I bought Staples gift certificates through Discover Rewards just for this purchase...
Yea; the hype and fomo was strong and the launch went well. However; there isn't a lot of new games and some of the best are still on the switch one or they are PC remakes. Why pay $70 for cyber punk when it's regularly on sale for $20 on PC or PS5?I think there's going to be a rush of used sales coming when the initial buyers get bored
I sold the PS5 for the Switch 2 because the PS5 will continue to drop in value while the Switch 2 will have games I can play with the kids while everything else is on the PC
Hope they lower the price by at least $50. Having the PS5 sitting at $450 and $500, makes it illogical to get a Switch 2 right now. Switch 2 portable mode is not the best looking either.
Its, "illogical to get a switch"? What are you talking about? You know switch is outselling every system ever and smashing every record? People can't get them fast enough? It is putting PS5 to shame? It put Microsoft Xbox out of business? You don't seem to understand reality.

Lol "it is putting ps5 to shame?" "It putting Microsoft Xbox out of business?"
Aren't these readily available now at pretty much any store? Nintendo did a great job creating a surplus of inventory by delaying the launch. Fastest selling console ever, as a result of having more stock initially available, but it seems like demand has waned. We'll see how the console sells in the long run.
These consoles aren't selling after the initial reseller buyout and Nintendo is worried. Switch 2 is comparable to PS4 in capability, in recent tests it was soundly beaten by the Xbox Series S.

If by "people" you mean scalpers, then yeah, happens with every console release. The only difference is the demand for the Switch 2 is pretty low compared to the original Switch and PS5/Xbox Series X, to the point where Craigslist sales are barely above MSRP.
For some reason that is difficult for some to understand. If you want to play the games that Nintendo makes, it doesn't matter how much you can get a PS or Xbox for.
Do you buy stuff for a company/self employment to amass so many points, are you using the monthly trade-in bonuses, or both? The most I ever amassed was 10,000, which is only $50. I would definitely be buying if I had that many points to burn. Need to know how the pro rewards earners do it.
I used the Staples Easy Rewards program to gradually save up. I earned rewards through ink and tech recycling, occasional promotions for bonus points, and small purchases here and there—nothing major, just consistent.
Before Staples switched to the current points system, they used to issue reward certificates that expired in two months, which meant I had to find something to buy before they expired. Now, with the new system, points don't expire, so I was able to save them up over time and use them all at once for a big purchase like the Switch 2.

Almost everything available on the PS5 is available on the PC. And the Ps5 is a pretty loud console with coil whine and has controllers that can barely carry a charge. Switch 2 is quiet and silent due to being a low power device. Just much better from a quality of life perspective as a gaming device, not to mention an actual exclusive library.

I don't have a horse in the race here or anything, but i don't understand all the people saying "having plenty of consoles in stock means it sucks and nobody wants it".
As if a company creating artificial scarcity to make scalpers some money is a good thing.

If the tariffs keep wildly changing retail up the real Black Friday may not occur
It may be you that is out of touch with reality
