I recently ordered. Images were great. Even though this has a "supercapacitor", it kept overheating and would not function. It is summer, but the temperature was in the high 80's and the unit got so hot that I could not touch it. Redtiger responded quickly, but I decided to go with a Viofo.

That's common when recording to 4k on any camera. Try 1080p or 1440p

These have an awful parking mode and take forever to wake and actually start recording. VIOFO is king

For a first time installer, is there a specific one to install in Viofo? Please suggest i saw that its either two A119 or a single A129?

The A119 goes on sale regularly. It has the starvis 2 sensor. That would be better option over this red tiger. The A229 adds rear camera if you want that. Personally I prefer front and rear but to each their own.
