I didn't either until i found this deal. It's a side project from some of the folks at the Swiss manufacturer BMC.

https://us.scor-mtb.com/?setstore=1

Bought the bike last week for $4899.99 and they just dropped the price yesterday even more...

$9k msrp, and no AXS. No thank you. Thankfully I'm trash on a mountain bike. Well I'm trash on a road bike too but I act like I'm fast. 😆

It's BMC. They're a swiss manufacturer of bikes and have won multiple TdF.

Who takes care of warranty service on this bike? BMC? Seems like a lot of bike companies are imploding currently.

You get an AXS Flight Attendant suspension system instead, with all the ultimate forks. That's worth a lot more as an upgrade than basic AXS shifting. If you want AXS shifting, spend around $800 extra.

Solid deal! Personally, I would never go with electronic shifting, so I prefer the mechanical X01. Never have to worry about a battery being charged or a processor breaking down on a trail, far from civilization. And X01 is a big step above GX.

Never heard of Scor. I wouldn't count on being able to warranty this, since who knows how long they'll stay in business. Looks like a decent deal though. Weird that it comes with flight attendant, but mechanical shifting. First time I've seen that. Probably discounted as SRAM moves away from regular Eagle to Transmission.
