I have about 20 hours invested in trying to get total wireless to unlock my device from the Razr deal a couple months ago. I have filed an FCC complaint and still no progress.
Buyer beware.

Idk, my 16 pro max lag once in a while when I typed. It's frustrating! What do u think is the problem? My iPad 10th gen does the same thing. I thought it was because of the older cpu. Lol
Restore with itunes. Setup without another device and go from there.

Well, I had to take a photo/scan of the front and back of my DL and take a selfie. I don't know necessarily if the Real ID is a requirement of the verification process. You have something to hide? Cool

I mean... Is it worth the hassle? Three generations behind, no USB-C, no RCS, probably not overly snappy given modern AI cra... bloat. Plus all the hoops to jump through with TW...
My daughter has this phone and I have a pixel. RCS works fine...

If this was a 15 or 15plus I would jump on it just to move her to USB C. I could finally trash all the crappy lightning cables.

Really dumb question. What happens with the ID verification process that people don't want to go through that.

A soon to be 3 year old phone. This isn't a good deal.
it is for an iPhone, if you are into that ecosystem. it's not your typical lower end Motorolas or A series Samsungs with relatively weak SOC's and in some cases (Motorola!) only have software support for a few years that typically have these kind of deals. iPhones tend to do well until the bitter end, which is often ages before they are cut off. An iPhone like this or even the 13 that has had a lot of good deals on lately is still a great choice and arguably better than similar Android deals if you don't mind Apple.

Now new iPhone vs new Android flagship, Android all day long...but for something like this it is a good deal

LOL nope, nothing to hide. I'm simple LAF but my non-real ID drivers license expires in 4 months so eventually I'll need to get a real ID.

it doesn't need to be a real id, a standard issue drivers license worked for me

Some see it as a questionable third party handling your personal info and potentially selling it, or it could just be deleted in a couple days, who knows, it's a mystery.

Not worth it. Total sucks. Customer service hell if something goes wrong with the deal.

If interested in this then do similiar deal at Verizon Prepaid for 256gb iPhone 14 Plus for $50 more. With Verizon Prepaid no ID verification(I think) and second month can downgrade to $35 plan and no porting requirement.

Verizon prepaid iPhone 14 Plus 256gb @ $250 + 95(two month service - first month 60, second month 35). Then also have 512gb variants for 300+95
Don't see these price on Verizon at all.. shows like 699 for me for 14 plus prepaid at 60

I got the rzr unolocked automatically post 60 days of service.
I beleive the phone should be activated and in total wireless network for 60 days to be unlocked.

Yes, the 13 was the last iPhone to use physical sim in the US.
