I completely agree. PB blaster really doesn't work for most things I have tried it on. Kroil kills it.
Meh , kroil over rated and very high priced…check project farm , liquid wrench did the best

So have I, and none of them have ever done what they say on the tin. They're thinned oil, that's it. They don't penetrate anywhere regular old WD-40 doesn't already.

I've gone through the "you're not using it right" steps given by everybody who swears by them a dozen ways and never found different. Hell, project farm's testing even had WD-40 straight up beating pb plaster, though the results were basically indistinguishable from using nothing at all.

The only thing that works reliably is heat. Sometimes a lot of it. If something just needs a little oil to get moving right then use whatever is laying around - it'll all work the same. PB Blaster is snake oil.

Or hell, it'd be better if it were snake oil. Might smell better.
I had a bike that had sat outside for a long time, and the steel seat post was rusted in. It was all the way down, and would not budge. I tried different kinds of sprays, then letting it sit for days and even weeks. I gave up on everything else and tried 3 in 1 oil. I would put a few drops on it, hit it a few times with a dead-blow hammer, each day, for over a week. One day, I thought I'd try once again with the pipe wrench, and it moved, just a little. So, I tried again, turning the other way, and eventually it broke loose. When I pulled the seat post out, it was covered in oil & rust. That was the longest seat post I'd even seen(over 13in). It was a girls bike, and kind of an odd design, so I wanted to fix it, instead of junking or destroying it. I've used 3 in 1 oil on many things, and it always seems to work.

Atf and acetone in a spray bottle really work great if you already have some

Yea, no shipping or even in-store pickup options for me either.NJ has been trying to become California's shadow for awhile now. 🫤

Kroil is way better than most other stuff I've tried including this. I've put it on stuff so rusted that even 1100ft lb torque wrenches couldn't the bolts off. Sprayed it on left it overnight and the bolt came off with a wrench by hand. It's saved me multiple times. I've used it to remove bolts on headers that are notorious for snapping off.
Kroil is amazing. I use it not so much for loosening rusted parts but to actually get rid of rust with the help of bronze wool.

The problem is kroil is $30 a can. I use it sparingly and only when I absolutely need to. Unsure why it costs so darn much.
