That's crazy. I wonder what could be causing them to stop having sales and have higher prices on their imported products.

They really must be doing well -- cutting back on coupons, enforcing these silly terms and conditions. Must not really want much of our money, especially with competitors having better and better sales.

At this point the value proposition of Harbor Freight is sort of gone. Almost everything I'd get is the same as getting it shipped to me for free.

Temu, AliExpress, Amazon Haul, Shein, Ebay... agreed none local but they compete with all of China.

I think he's referring to tariffs but this isn't a recent thing, harbor freight has been tightening up regarding coupons, sales and deals for years now

Buyer beware based on multiple HF employees stating that all HF stores can finally track and enforce the 5 item rule
Use a different phone number.

I always stock up on Batteries and just ran out of AAs so perfect timing. Might also get some compressed air and lubricant sprays.

The Retail Equation. Tracks returns for a bunch of different stores. If you make too many returns, it will prevent you from making returns at all stores for a period of time, usually a year. If you return too much stuff to Harbor Freight, you may not be able to return stuff to Walmart or Home Depot for example.

Home Despot, bLowes, scAmazon, the whole Temu/Aliexpress/Haul cheap-chinese importers, fleabay, Walfart, DirectFoolsOutlet, etc.

This right here. They're no longer the cheap place to buy something. "Buy a cheap version, use it up, then by a good version" -- now it's the same price or more expensive than your Husky, Kobalt, Crapsman, etc from Home Despot or bLowes or scAmazon. And most of those will ship to your door for free, saving you the trip & is far better for the environment.

That's fine, I used to stop in almost every other day to Horror Fright Ghouls because they had those perpetual 20% off + free item without purchase/with any purchase coupons. Now it's only on weekends, which I have other....better things to do. Nowadays, of I make it into a HFT twice a year, that's doing pretty good. No idea what new things they're selling, other than it's the same price or more expensive than the competition!

Never heard of it. So chill with the alarmist approach.
