Though it is entirely possible that your specific combination of laptop capabilities and use cases could reach the peak rating of your laptop power bricks, it is more likely that the worst thing you might ever see from using a lower-rated charger is a slightly slower ramp to a full charge (or a BIOS notification until you turn that nag off, thanks Dell).

Quite a few multi-port chargers put little to no markings to indicate which is the port with more power, so I have to flip it over to read the micro fine print to confirm, and even then, sometimes it's unclear, so I have to take out the USB port tester to confirm, then mark the port myself, which is a minor thing, but something I feel I shouldn't have had to do. Kudos for Belkin for labeling their ports.
