Unit comes with a solid Intel CPU then Acemagic pairs it with a Realtek NIC, that was a durrr move. Acemagic is 'meh' beyond their malware troubles.

Get the mini PC you listed since its iGPU is a lot better.

This mini PC (BOSGAME M4 [amazon.com]) is a bit better for $396. It comes with 1TB and has OcuLink connector so you can add a GPU dock with external graphics card.

Any thoughts on this for a plex server that does some fairly heavy transcoding and maybe 2 streams at one time?

Even a $100 N100 / N150 from Amazon will be more than most ever need (with PlexPass). This is massive overkill for most. That said, it'll work just fine.

Shot in the dark: Would anyone know of a similar spec'd minipc but with 2 USB-C (1 DP 1.4) ports? This has just about everything else I'm looking for: excellent price, good processor (idc about processor tho. Can be AMD), 2 HDMI, 1x 2.5 Ethernet but I NEED (like to have) that second USB-C. If not, this will have to suffice. Any help is truly appreciated.

Then Get the Minisforum AI X1 with Ryzen AI 7 365 Strix Point APU.
You will get the latest Zen 5 based Strix Point 10 Core (4 Zen 5 + 4 Zen 5c)/20T CPU, RDNA 3.5 based 880M Graphics (12 CU), 2x USB4, 1x OCulink, HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4. The barebone is around. Currently only the 64GB Ram + 1TB Version is available and that is around $823, I think within your budget. If you want something cheaper, go with the Ryzen 7 255 which is a Zen 4 based Hawk Point Rebrand, basically a Ryzen 7 8845H. You will still get the same ports.

I know that. But N series normally has a stripped down iGPU from core series with reduced featured media engine. That's why I ask the question if the UHD Graphics for 12th Gen Processor does have the capability of dual stream transcoding.
