No clue why you decided to write your own version of "War and Peace" but can be pretty sure if you do that on any CC claim, you'll just confuse them in nonsense instead of the specific details.
Regardless, just like the other guy, you don't seem to understand the basics of CC disputes and it's a third party that looks at them and what is normally done to rectify almost all situations.
1) You return to get a refund.
2) If the merchant doesn't voluntarily refund when the item is delivered back to them then the CC dispute forces a refund.
Any tangent from this puts it in YMMV territory in being successful or not.
Ebay (and how they decide disputes) is very different than Credit card disputes and their policies.
It comes mostly assembled. Install the front wheel, pedals, front fender, headlight, pegs, and handlebars. I stripped one of the 4 Allen bolts on the handlebar, and it isn't 100% secure; it takes a lot of effort, but it will move. I need to buy a stripped screw remover, and I want to buy stronger Allen bolts
It has nothing to do with "good business look".
It's a third party (CC disputes) that decides them. Normally (unless the merchant doesn't reply), you have to send it back to get a refund. That's the script.
If they'll even look at the other details, given OP will not be doing that will be the very YMMV factor is getting it decided in your favor.
The only point was there's no "it's in the bag to win" to his scenario.

My first reply was basically that there is "no guarantee" this person would win just because they wouldn't him send a pre-paid label.
If anything, it's puts that at a disadvantage over a merchant that just totally blew them off, in regards to a CC dispute.
This is in addition to me saying (multiple times) it will be YMMV if they are successful or not.
Can easily go either way.
