You don't use the pedals, you use the throttle to run down small children on the sidewalk.
How do you change the settings? I just got the bike and it's worth every penny. Goes 26mph.

I will caution that it helps to be have some experience with mechanical adjustments and have some other tools handy (impact driver, uprated allen keys, etc.). The brakes were a bit fiddly, but I like to optimized everything so I spent a fair time tuning them. I also moved the display down to the bottom of the handle bars, but the power controller+speed adjustment unit has a short wire so it can't be mounted next to the light/horn controller. I wish the wire was a bit longer. Brakes are middling so be prepared to brake early esp at high speeds - hydraulic brakes are a potential upgrade in the future.
I "unlocked" max speed by going into programming mode (check youtube for how-tos).
Overall very satisfied, was taking a leap of faith on something from Ali but so far so good. This thing moves (imho) and has plenty of power to carry my 200+lb frame. It's hard to imagine that this bike can be profitable at this pricepoint, competition is great for consumers.
UPDATE - Replacement stem received. Very happy with seller response. My experience so far has been good. Time will tell if this bike will hold up in purely suburban street use. If all things go well, I would consider upgrading the brakes to hydraulic and replacing the rear shock. I would also think about doing the seat mod which would lower the ride height down about 2 inches so I could go flat footed when stationary.

Looks very nice from what I see and thanks for the real review not based on just dreadful speculation and feelings about chinamen.
Somebody else asked but do you think I could get a 6 year on it on it with me? Seat looks long but hard to tell just looking.
