I have several dozen KG of Kingroon PETG and it's been printing well on my Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro. Sturdy stuff. I've been getting the best results with a moderately increased flow rate. Your settings may vary depending on the printer; one can use the calibration settings built into OrcaSlicer (how-to: https://github.com/SoftFever/Orca...alibration ) to dial in the best settings for a given filament.

Believe it or not, that happens when too much moisture gets in PLA, it becomes brittle. Sort of counter intuitive. Try a filament dryer.
I second this. I have a spool of (Flashforge) PLA that I printed out of the package just fine with, left sitting for a week, then had crack multiple places where it had been sitting in open air going straight between the spool and then around the bend into the feeder tube (in other words, it had been flexible a week ago). Drying it in an air fryer* set to 170F (77C) seems to have resolved the issue.

*-Don't do this with any toxic filaments such as ASA, ABS, or nylon. It's also debatable whether it's even a good idea with PLA. I print directly from a PolyDryer now.
For reference, I'm not in a terribly humid environment, but it's not all that dry either - Pacific Northwest.

just finished my 2nd white spool of petg from kingroon. so far so good, went ahead and ordered a 10 pack here of more white. at $7 a spool, you just print whatever you feel like for the most part.

Is there a reason PLA is more expensive here?
I thought PETG was supposed to be pricier.

For eSun PLA+, this is definitely an issue. Worse than the filament becoming brittle in the bowden tube, it turns out that parts made with it get brittle as they age, and tend to fail under *very* low static loads. I'd standardized on the eSun after really good results with it for a couple of months, but after 9-12 months in my shop (east coast, 60% RH most of the time) I had tool support brackets failing with no more than a couple pounds of load on them. And I'm not talking small brackets, I mean 6-8mm thick sections more than 50mm long that simply fractured.

PLA is fine for toys and organizers, but I shy away from it for anything that has to carry load. These days, my printer is great with PETg, so the only thing I use PLA for is supports, since PLA & PETg are incompatible and won't stick. The supports come off like magic.

I heard this too, when I got into printing. It has been completely false in my experience. PETG is always cheaper than PLA. Maybe it used to be true, but I've always paid more for PLA.

As far as this filament, I've used it for about a year with no issues on the A1 and A1 mini. Works great in the AMS without an adapter.

Kingroon has been mediocre for me. More stringing and pimples compared to Bambu filament. Printing out of a X1C. I ordered 20kg and won't be reordering. I'm going to stick with sunlu/bambu going forward.

Has anyone tried regular PETG print at 500mm/s? I'm running out of black filament for my Elegoo Centauri Carbon, and AliExpress HS PETG can't be shipped to my address. TY

I'm wondering what the difference is between the Hyper 500mm/s and Newest HS 600mm/s is, because it's about $10 cheaper for 5kg than the Hyper...

Is this good material?
I bought this to print prototype stuff before I print the "real" version in Bambu but honestly, this stuff is great! I've got a profile for it on the P1S and it prints as good as any of my Bambu filament.
