This mouse saved my hand. I was losing feeling in my fingertips and they'd get sores from blood flow issues using a standard mouse (mostly Logitech Master MX). Having my wrist at a more natural angle and not having my wrist moving unnaturally all day has been a big relief for that problem. You're not going to game with this mouse though (well, maybe Centipede or Missile Command).

How are the switches on this mouse? Every single Logitech mouse I have ever owned would work fine for a few months and then I would get random double-clicks when trying to drag something. I had to stop using my MX Vertical for that reason.

I'm a dedicated M500 whatever user forever now. I tried to use this one and the tilting really through me off. I guess you have to get used to it. I also found it a little larger than my other ones. Currently using an M575 and it still does the trick! Just my .02.

Does that rollerball aggravate thumb issues? I have DeQuervain's and a bunch of other hand/wrist issues and I'm worried that the rollerball will just cause more thumb inflammation and pain from the extra thumb movements.

I love this product but I don't like it's lifespan.

The switches suck. I had to replace them after two years as I started getting the exact problem you're describing. The repair video I watched commented on how Logitech cheaped out on the switches in this model in particular.
