to be fair, it's usually the crazy colorways that go on sale first. you know, honestly I don't mind them. there was a time when most bball courts were loaded with mostly black/white/gray with only maybe an odd tar heel blue or something, but those days are long gone. it's kind of cool to have some crazy neon hot pink or something like that, and you most definitely hear things like "dude it's not pink, it's magenta" around the park these days. I think my favorite are the Lebron's where each shoe is a different (but complimentary) color. I mean, if you're gonna go, go big.

It depends on how hard you play, if you are doing cuts and sprint stops for balls you may want to get a shoe that is grippier; these have a little give on indoor surfaces. You could probably use grip spray and it would solve the problem. They perform much better on outdoor courts though.
