Think it depends on the size.

Grabbed a pair for my son. He goes through shoes quickly due to constant growth spurts, so can't beat the price.

I almost hate to ask, but has anyone actually ran in these? Nice price, but I can't imagine they would be good enough for that. They don't have any locally, or I'd stop in and see what they look like. For a casual walking sneaker, they're probably fine, but I recently started running again...after a 20-year hiatus. Let me tell you, it's really hard, "It's difficult, difficult, lemon difficult" (a funny take on "easy-peasy lemon squeezy" from the movie "In The Loop").

I bought some Adidas, Duramo SL2 and Runfalcon 5, for around $32 a pair, and they're not bad, but they're not like the new giant stack shoes of today. Hoka didn't exist when I was into running. All the brands copied Hoka with giant stack heights that are supposed to prevent chronic injury and actually help with aching joints. Makes sense, and I need that, but most of these shoes are well over $100 a pair, and more often over $150. As always, there's a lot of marketing mixed with "you get what you pay for".

Not sure these are for a serious runner, for a casual jog or walking around the neighborhood or park, they are likely fine and comfortable. If you're running a couple of miles a day, invest in some good running shoes. Of course for $12.xx you can try them out and if not up to par for that purpose, just use them for casual going to the grocery store or knock around use and save the pricey running shoes just for running.

My only experience is from the early 90's. They were good back then. But I assume these are a different model.

Yeah, they were considered a decent brand back then. It makes me wonder what happened that they fell out of favor.

One thing's for sure, they're no longer a relevant running shoe brand if RunRepeat has no search results for them, and they're stocked by Walmart.

Just got mine from FedEx. I usually wear a 10.5 New Balance. These 10.5 seem a little tight in the toe area! They are very bouncy. Will try them for a while and if they dont loosen up will return.

These sneakers are surprisingly comfortable for me but not stable enough for running. I ordered many pairs for work or casual. The soles are ok, thin rubber? but not great, and most likely won't last to long. But that is to be expected with this company. I also rotate my sneakers daily with many other brands to avoid injury's, so I cannot speak of long term single use.

I have similar Avia running shoes from a sale for like $8 a few months ago. I'm very happy with them and have run in them several times. Are they the best running shoe ever? Heck no. Can you run in them comfortably? Absolutely yes. I've run 2-3 miles a few times a week in them no issue at all. I'm gonna snag these too.

There were two Oregon shoe companies back in the 80's and 90's. Avia and Nike.
