Just remember that the Pixel 10 is launching in a couple weeks. Decent chance Best Buy has the trade in an iPhone 13 or whatever and get one free like they have the last couple years. I would definitely wait unless you need a phone immediately.

I tried that, iOS is so incredibly primitive that I'd rather use a buggy Pixel than an iPhone.

I had one of the early pixels. It was great for two years, then started having random issues (I was constantly restarting the pixel) I have a Samsung now and it has had no issues. So I don't think it's Android.
I decided to try the pixel 9 pro XL and I love it, it's my first pixel and I'm coming from a S23 Ultra. At the beginning I was missing One UI, but later on I got used to it, everything is so fluid and fast on this phone and now I am not planning to come back to Samsung any time soon.

Is your issue with Android in general or just the Pixel? Why not try another brand?
Pixel software is fine.

I'm on my 4th Pixel (like the camera and Android) and all four had to be RMA'd and, admittedly, fixed for free by Google even outside the warranty. Other than they all seem to crap out around 2 years. The fingerprint sensor on my 8 kind of sucks. My wife has had various iPhones since the 3gs and not one has had to be RMA'd and our 8+ still works despite the screen barely staying on from a not-quite-perfect battery repair I did-- my son uses it for Pokemon Go.

I'm only seeing a $75 trade-in offer for a 6a at the Google Store?
If you do the 6a battery rebate program, you get $100 off from the sale, $150 off from the battery promo code, and $75 back from the trade in. Comes out to $175 before tax.

Good price to pair with the $150 6a rebate.
Exactly what I've been waiting for....my 6a now lasts 3 hours before I have to plug it in after the battery nerf.

Wait, which part of this is a deal, let alone a Frontpage deal, when an unlocked Pixel 9 is available from US Mobile for $389 right now?

It's a solid budget phone. I got it because it's the cheapest phone that works with Project Genesis and cheapest one for Meta Raybans. Which don't work with any Chinese android phone.
what do you mean works with meta ray ban? i use meta rayban but found streaming extremely laggy .

I know this is a 9a, but I have an 8a and I absolutely hate it! I did month of research on it because I am very picky. My old $100 Motorola, as well as my older iPhone are more dependable than this turd. You know that feeling when you just want to throw your phone, but than you know you shouldn't, well, that's how I feel pretty much every day. Just thought people should know before Google gets any more money for useless products.
The 7s and 8s had issues. We returned our 8 and stuck with a 6a. My 9a has been great.

As a pixel user since pixel 2 and now on the pixel 8, I concur. Finally ready to go back to iPhone after all these years.
The hardware on pixel is really bad compared to what Samsung offers.

I've owned multiple pixels, given up and moved to iPhone, and now happy on Samsung Android. Any Google hardware is bad, period.

If you use the $150 rebate from the battery, will it still be the off the sale price? I thought google only allowed it off the regular price.

Pixel 10 is 17 days away, not really "a couple weeks". A couple weeks can mean up to 9 weeks.
That's now how I would use it. A couple (almost?) always refers to "two."

Does the $150 battery promo credit stack with the discounted rate? Users were reporting that it didn't on the main rebate forum. Can anyone confirm one way or another?

From a galaxy user, curious....anyone have experience with both and care to share?
I have owned probably 30 phones in my life now and the main thing I've learned is to go with the mainstream. Updates are reliable, bugs are squashed and everything just works for the most part. Anytime I've had a Galaxy Nexus or a pixel or a OnePlus phone or anything else I run into ridiculously frustrating things like Wi-Fi not working reliably, terrible reception, batteries burning out, screens that go bad. The Google Pixel line is loved by purists, but they are much more likely to have issues.
