Just remember that the Pixel 10 is launching in a couple weeks. Decent chance Best Buy has the trade in an iPhone 13 or whatever and get one free like they have the last couple years. I would definitely wait unless you need a phone immediately.

I tried that, iOS is so incredibly primitive that I'd rather use a buggy Pixel than an iPhone.

I just placed my order for a 9a using my $150 6a promo code. $250 total discount before my $75 trade in. What prompted me to select the $150 credit option was this $100 off pricing and I received my code within minutes.

Fantastic camera and vanilla Android marred by hardware issues, fundamental bugs and subpar long-term reliability. We moved to Samsung as the experience is consistent. It may not be perfect but the hardware is top notch (stick to Snapdragon variants though).
What I would give for Samsung hardware + Pixel software = the erstwhile Google Play Edition Samsungs

I have owned probably 30 phones in my life now and the main thing I've learned is to go with the mainstream. Updates are reliable, bugs are squashed and everything just works for the most part. Anytime I've had a Galaxy Nexus or a pixel or a OnePlus phone or anything else I run into ridiculously frustrating things like Wi-Fi not working reliably, terrible reception, batteries burning out, screens that go bad. The Google Pixel line is loved by purists, but they are much more likely to have issues.
The iPhone have a serious public Wi-Fi problem that android doesn't have; it simply cannot open the free Wi-Fi splash screen at most places.

It's annoying and I think IOS does it for security purposes but it's sucks, I literally have to fool with the phone for a few minutes for it to open the Wendy's free Wi-Fi home page to sign on.

iPhone is very reliable but it's far from perfect, it's so primitive I don't like using it, but the accessories are decent.

If Google can get the hardware situation fixed and make more reliable phones, I can see them becoming much bigger than they are now, but the reliability, simply isn't there and too expensive to risk it.

Absolutely. IOS is so unintuitive. You need to know the "secret handshake" to do anything. I don't understand the lovefest. IOS people always said it was just because I wasn't used to it. I have now had to use an iPhone and iPad for work for 7 years. Still as clumsy and stupid as day 1.

Good price to pair with the $150 6a rebate.
did you already get the $150 code? How long does it take after the registration form submission to get the code?

If you do the 6a battery rebate program, you get $100 off from the sale, $150 off from the battery promo code, and $75 back from the trade in. Comes out to $175 before tax.
how long does it take to get the battery promo code?

It's $75 for trade-in, where you see $150?

Does the $150 battery promo credit stack with the discounted rate? Users were reporting that it didn't on the main rebate forum. Can anyone confirm one way or another?
Yes they stack, I did it myself.

I requested the store credit for my Pixel 6a, but the confirmation page says "A member of our support team will get back to you within 3 weeks." Still haven't received my code yet. I guess YMMV...

For those interested, it looks like Best Buy has also matched this $100 off price, as well as discounting another $100 (making it $399 for the 256GB model) if signing up for Verizon. Has anyone bought the Pixel 9a with Verizon through Best Buy and cancelled the service like with other phones? Does it work on all of their unlocked phones that offer this discount?

As a pixel user since pixel 2 and now on the pixel 8, I concur. Finally ready to go back to iPhone after all these years.
Also had two Pixel phones bricked due to updates (completely fried chips/won't turn on), I think it's linked to their battery policy which I don't understand. I switched back to my sub $100 moto phone(s), 90% as good and way more dependable.

I have two of these and it has an auto brightness problem. It's a little irritating.
