I have this. It's d-pad centric. So forget using the analog sticks comfortable. Also shoulder buttons are clicky and hard to press. Furthermore it's not vertically stack shoulder buttons/trigger setup. It's shoulder button on the same level so reaching for r1/l1 isn't great on top of having to press it.

It's my least favorite handheld. I prefer the miyoo mini+.

Out of the millions of emulation handhelds, where does this rank? Is there a gold standard, if so which is it? Granted I know a lot of times it comes down to personal preference. I'm always considering a retro handheld emulator, but the options make my head spin. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

will this have all the Sega Saturn games? Or, can anyone recommend a handheld that plays Saturn games?

i have both and the mini plus is the worst i've owned. horribly uncomfortable and the triggers and audio are worse . and forget about ever using anything analog stick with the miyoo since there is none.

i've been obsessively researching these. and i know everyone likes to tell you which one to get so probably just stop reading now

still here? ok.

the retroid brand is at the top end of quality, and it's priced as such. the mini v2 is the hottest item right now. unless you want wide screen, but most people seeking retro games don't. $200-$250

the trimui brick running nextui might be the budget and quality king if you want a gameboy form factor. that's what i just bought for about $45

the miyoo v4 is tiny and cool but tiny. people with it and the miyoo mini plus seem to prefer the v4. it's got a dim screen that sucks outside, but perfect in bed. that's what she said, anyway. also around $45

apparently a lot of people buy one (any one) and then feel compelled to buy 5 more. good luck.
