The 16GB is the video memory, not the RAM.
Secondly, there's a hyperlink clearly mentioned in the description as 'source', listing all the proper specs.

I had noticed that also, but I'm wondering if perhaps they are referring to the amount of VRAM on the mobile 4090 because that's what the 4090 mobile comes with, 16 GB of GDDR6. It would seem odd if such a maxed out spec on a laptop would only have 16 GB of system ram.

Yeah I get the links to source materials show 64gb of ram but the ebay ad is very clearly stating this has 16gb of memory, NOT vram. A bit concerning considering it's being listed directly by Acer.

Whats the difference between this and the Predator Helios 4090?

If you buy it, just run all the tests before the return window closes. My Acer refurb laptop kept crashing whenever I'd run intensive software and recent games. The RAM was busted. It ran fine on normal window everyday use and the bad RAM issue only showed up 15 days in.

I have the Helios and it has a 18" screen instead of 17". This one has better cooling and is offered with more RAM. I wanted the Triton but it was rarely available so I settled on the Helios. I think the 2nd SSD location on this one is more difficult to get to but I could be misremembering. I would assume that the speakers on this model are also better because the ones on the Helios are the worst I've ever heard on a laptop.

Mini LED refers to the backlight. I suppose there are probably IPS, VA and maybe other types of LCD screens used with mini LED backlighting.

You have it backwards. The Helios generally have better cooling, and easier access for upgrades. The Triton is slimmer and more portable. Speakers on my 18" Helios sound good. I wish it had a sub
