Also, please keep in mind the impact of tariffs now that the de minimis threshold has been removed

I've def become a bit of a tint snob over the years, but I think if you're looking for a good headlamp, you'll be much happier with something 5000k or lower and high cri. I also personally really like a headlamp that is motion activated.

For this price though I'm sure it's a solid choice.

I used to be a tint snob too and a 90+ cri snob, but the problem is, at tint and high cri=power output is often 1/2 of the lesser options, so it's a preference, I suppose, but yes, love 90+ cri

Yeah, I use to avoid high cri and warm tints because of the loss of output, but the output of high cri and warm lights has vastly improved recently and, how often do I really need the 3,000+ lumens on my DT8, beyond showing it off?

ya, if i need to show off I have a 16k lumen beast. and I agree, I usually run them in a middle setting, but to be honest, at night, i dont really care that much for the tint, since goal is to illuminate path when walking dog, or something vs like laying in a tent, reading... maybe there it'd matter more.

See, I find a good tint and cri helps a lot with finding poops.

The dogs of course, why would I need to find my own poops? Yeah......

luckily where I walk them there is no grass, so easy to find, and the place where I walk with grass, I don't need to pick it up.. so avoided that...

but, ya, i mean, there are 1000's of these lamps out there, but over the years, I used 10_ no brand ones, and even things like head support kinda sucks on the cheap ones. also battery compartment is not the best and not weather tight.

this 1 works as a flashlight, headlamp and also pretty water tight for those sidewinds, when I used it few months ago to go to the dock at my friends place to make sure the boat seat covers weren't gone. it was 30mph+ winds and rain and this thing didnt even move or blink
