The term "hack" refers to purchasing two items on buy one get one sale and returning one of the items to get a higher discount on one of the items. It is not a hack and Home Depot tracks all customer returns. Home Depot has reported they will take action from excessive returns abuse by banning customers and up to theft charges. Taking advantage of store policies is at your own risk and is not a "hack"

Deal HistoryĀ
Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Is this the package with the free batteries? To buy and return?
Yeah, it's the standard hack. But you could also keep the batteries. If you're just getting into the M12 line keeping the batteries might be a good deal. Works out till like⦠42 Ish dollars a battery for the three amp hours each. That's not bad honestly. And if you're into making trades on marketplace and craigslist and whatever those batteries are pretty good.

Putting a Gazebo together, is the M12 going to have enough power to drill those nuts in? Kinda new to the whole tool thing and while I already have a Dewalt Atomic 20V Impact driver as my starter, this just seems like too good of a deal.

This is more than capable for a gazebo. It just might take a little longer than the M18. I built a deck with this little guy. It did start to overheat in 95 degree weather when I was fastening deck boards down (lot of repetitive motion) but it had plenty of power. Nice and light too, if you're using it overhead.

This thing for a 12 volt is a beast. You should have no problem. Watch this vid he gets it to undo bolts torqued to 250 lbs with the impact. The hammer drill goes through like 8 inches of concrete block like butter.
This deal looks even better: the M12 FUEL 12-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Hammer Drill and Impact Driver Combo Kit, including 4 batteries and a bag (2-tool set) - $199.00 https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwa.../336305265

Gotta be honest though the deal with the batteries is killer. I might return the deal I got last week.
