You have to add the batteries then return them to get the price down to $146.

Gotta be honest though the deal with the batteries is killer. I might return the deal I got last week.

Yeah, it's the standard hack. But you could also keep the batteries. If you're just getting into the M12 line keeping the batteries might be a good deal. Works out till like… 42 Ish dollars a battery for the three amp hours each. That's not bad honestly. And if you're into making trades on marketplace and craigslist and whatever those batteries are pretty good.

Putting a Gazebo together, is the M12 going to have enough power to drill those nuts in? Kinda new to the whole tool thing and while I already have a Dewalt Atomic 20V Impact driver as my starter, this just seems like too good of a deal.

This is more than capable for a gazebo. It just might take a little longer than the M18. I built a deck with this little guy. It did start to overheat in 95 degree weather when I was fastening deck boards down (lot of repetitive motion) but it had plenty of power. Nice and light too, if you're using it overhead.
