You have to add the batteries then return them to get the price down to $146.

Yeah, it's the standard hack. But you could also keep the batteries. If you're just getting into the M12 line keeping the batteries might be a good deal. Works out till likeā€¦ 42 Ish dollars a battery for the three amp hours each. That's not bad honestly. And if you're into making trades on marketplace and craigslist and whatever those batteries are pretty good.
