I previously posted the frontpage deal for the ASUS Vivobook S 16: 16" 3.2K OLED, Ryzen AI 9 365, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD that was priced identically. I ended up really disliking the ASUS laptop for several reasons that this HP completely address...

Things I disliked about the ASUS that this HP addresses...
  1. Glossy Screen - The glossy screen on the ASUS was unbearable for me. I bought an anti-glare screen protector, but the clarity/resolution of the screen was really diminished and defeated the purpose of having a nice OLED screen. This HP has an anti-glare screen which is much better for me, and it's also touchscreen which is nice.
  2. Speakers - The ASUS had speakers on the bottom of the laptop, which obviously muffles the sounds when on your lap or most surfaces. This HP has speakers on the front which are much better for me.
  3. Numeric Keypad - The ASUS has a slightly truncated numeric keypad which drove me crazy. I use this often and I kept hitting the "." whenever I wanted to hit "0". This HP has the regular full-size layout which I am accustomed to.
  4. Keyboard - The HP soft grey keypad has a MUCH better contrast compared to the ASUS. I can easily read the letters.

What's the biggest difference between this and the Omni book 7 at Costco for $200 more?

I see two Omnibook 7's at Costco. one for $1199 and another for $999.
They both have OLED 120hz touchscreens and 500 nits, along with different CPUs. For most, the screen difference is probably all you will notice.

processor 258V vs 285H, screen 3k OLED 500 nits vs 2K IPS 300 nits, Wifi 7 vs Wifi 6e
Also battery capacity I guess
