On the dangers that it might induce. It has some chemicals that cause cancer. 5 dollars is great but…..

Is this like the other one where the cap sucks and replacement cap cost more than the whole bottle?

I've seen stainless steel bottles but there it is not lined. I remembered I saw one at target for $5 but I didn't buy it because of that.

I appreciate safety concerns, but reading your link it says the concerns primarily are inhalation or high dietary levels. If you're inhaling or eating your water bottles, you're doing it wrong. Chances are you're getting worse stuff from the water itself than the bottle you're drinking it from.

So this link describes the materials typically used in making stainless steel, if ingested in their purest forms as a powder ONLY individually. This link is spreading misinformation at its finest. This is extreme ignorance at its finest. Stainless steel is made of these components yes, but when it's made, it's finished, it doesn't leach these things. The article never mentions stainless steel finished leaching it only talks about the materials BEFORE stainless steel is made. Please become educated on how things are manufactured before spreading such ignorant misinformation. 😠

Actually the link only talks about the specific materials that are needed to make stainless steel as individual powder forms and of course it would be unsafe to breath powder forms of these things. But same thing could be said of the materials needed to make glass. The finish product isn't toxic or dangerous, because it becomes something else. This person is just sharing misinformation.

So it seems everyone here has a consensus.... Let's avoid breathing from our water bottles?
... I don't know about you, I'm partial to hold my breath and drink from the water bottle.... 😂🤣

You can go ahead and buy. We are here to get the best value. This does not give me good value due to health hazards.
