I have one of these. I used it twice. It's been sitting on a shelf in the garage for the last 3 years. I almost forgot I even had it until this deal. Don't remember what I paid, but whatever it was, it was too much.

It could be more useful if it came with a lid.

Use it outside. I bought it to use on the deck to cook fish since my wife hates the smell. It doesn't hold the heat without a lid, or the flavors if you do steak. Most of the better ones come with a lid. It will keep things warm while cooking without the top cooling off. Same reason you would use a lid on a pan. It's literally just an electric skillet with slots and a drip tray.
