Does anyone know the quality of these books? I am always on the lookout for books to be able to give to pediatric patients. At $1 per book, that is fantastic.

i don't have any personal experience but i was looking through the reviews on the different reading levels before i posted. there aren't a lot of reviews on these but people seem to be pretty happy with the selections they received. looks like a mix of hardcover and paperback books and mostly non-fiction.

Yes! Great quality! I buy board books, folk tales, and non fiction Spanish books from there all the time! Most are bilingual, not Spanish only.

We just got these delivered today. They're worth about what you are paying: $1/book. Not great but a few decent ones.

We got our books. Almost all of them are non-fiction. We got a handful of hardback books, but that's because I bought all 4 grade levels b/c we homeschool (two of the grade levels had no hardcovers). There are some very niche books included- ones about Natalie Portman, Leonardo DiCaprio, Lincoln Navigator, Cadillac Escalade, etc. They aren't regular books. They are more like classroom readers (that a teacher would buy in bulk). I noticed a review of a teacher saying they give these to students before winter break. That makes sense. They are almost all cheaper quality. The list price is greatly exaggerated. These are not worth $7 a piece. I wish I had known that every "mystery" is the same per grade. I would not have ordered duplicate sets. I did try to see in the product description if this was the case before ordering. Oh well. Since these are back in stock, this is more info for people thinking of purchasing. To be honest, I wouldn't have paid a dollar for at least half of the books we got. There are some good ones though in the mix. Some of the grade levels had duplicates of the other grades too, so we got several books about Natalie Portman.

Updated to add- I was looking through the sale section and most of the books that we got are in there for $1, plus there are many more books. I think it makes more sense to just look through that list and pick the books that actually appeal to you, especially when it's questionable to pay a dollar per book when you are getting books that you wouldn't have wanted!
