i'm fairly certain everyone is toddler weight. and in no way does anyone carry groceries, packages, backpacks, etc on their ebike.
most people are not using this to carry even 50 lbs of cargo.
330 lb is the MINIMUM is can support for 2.5inch tire.
Say 200 lb rider + 70 lb bike + 60 lb cargo = 330.
Even if you carry 100 lbs of cargo, I am sure it'll be fine.

When you buy from Amazon you are not buying from Amazon but Amyet. They are just the checkout basically.
The beautiful tariffs added to the price make it cheaper?

A $400 ebike is not going to really have decent parts.
If you are talking about ebike you have that have decent parts, then all the more reason for it to be able to hold 330lb+ on 2.5inch tires. But it's your own bike, so you do whatever you want.

I and others would rather see a 2.5inch tire on these cheap bikes than a 4 inch fat tire. B/c let's be real, using a 2.5inch would mean they can use a bit higher quality material than 4 inch,, if cost is to stay the same.

2.5inch tire can support minimum 330lbs. that many people weigh over 250 lbs and ride ebike?
I'm currently 6'4" and 270lbs. I was 350lbs last November. Years ago when I bought an evelo I was probably 325lbs. Had flat tire after flat tire. Possibly my weight, but I think it was also a design flaw or cheap rims. So yes, plenty of people over 250lbs like ebikes.

depending on which side the puncture is at. If at rim side, then def cheap rims causing it.
But fat bikes tend to get more punctures from debris on the road. More contact surface = more chance to run over sharp object.

I'lve gotten several punctures on 2.5inch tire in about 100 miles. I have NEVER had a puncture on 25mm wide roadbike.

And to contrast that....I'm a big dude, and I have bent 5 different 2 5 inch mountain bike rims several times, each riding rough trails. I have YET to bend a 4 inch rim. I do keep an intact 2.5 inch around because they are so maneuverable and can take trails at higher speeds. It's a give and take on preferences.

I've seen this exact bike from 200 sellers at all different price points and considered it once.

The tires are cheap crap and fall apart. The fenders are plastic junk. The brakes need regular adjustment. One guy said he had to do that on each ride. The motor isn't 1500, IIRC it's 400-500 with a surge capability of .003 seconds. The battery doesn't meet the specs either, falls off regularly (where they send you the "updated one" that does. "If you don't notice, we made extra profit. If you do, we'll say it was an error and send you what you bought.

Uncomfortable seat, Weird rusty welds made by a rabid squirrel. Hard and time consuming to assemble. One guy took 3 hours and needed a nap. And whatever you do, don't charge it indoors.
You know none of those things as you have not got the bike or tested in any way. We see here people putting it together in twenty minutes and you say three hours.

I have three and they all have decent parts and I have had no problems. They have the same parts mostly that other bikes have. I do remember back in the pre ebike days rich people told me my $100 Walmart deal ten speed would crumble in my hands unlike their $2000 bike but that never came to pass and I got more than a decade of use and enjoyment out of even using it as trail bike.

I am starting to wonder if those that tell us not to get these get a tinge of envy when they see me out having the same fun they are with significantly less cost. It might just be a class thing also as what used to be the privilege, playground and realm of the rich is opened up to those that may not be as privileged with dollars.
