Fwiw, bon appetit doesn't like this one: https://www.bonappetit.com/story/...ll-brushes :

OXO products are always well-made and thoughtfully designed—the chainmail brush head can be removed from the handle for easy cleaning—but this one just didn't leave the grates as debris-free as the other brushes we tested. It was able to knock off big chunks, but not much more. The scraper on top didn't have deep enough divots to reach drippings under the grates. OXO touts the brush's "flexible silicone" core that rests under the chainmail, but we found that the head's curve meant only the highest point made contact with the grill. The top and tail didn't hit at all, which felt like wasted surface area.

I have seen these on clearance for $20 or $25 in multiple warehouses. YMMV but probably cheaper in store if they have them.

I have this and it works great. I use it exclusively to clean my grills. I've washed the heads a few times and they look brand new.

Might try this anyways. I had a bristle head cleaner and some of the bristles broke off. Those spammy grill cleaner pro ads maybe are legit.

Grill hack: use alluminum foil and shape it to ball or any compressed shape. Use your hand or a tong and clean your grates!

I got a grill cleaning bristle in my gums once, it broke of the scrubber and was stuck to the grates and then stuck to the food. Imagine that, it's horrible. I looked after and saw others stuck to the grates on the grill. 3 in 1 painters scraper from now on F that

I did this last time, and the aluminum foil I used must have been cheap or too thin, because I got small aluminum flakes everywhere and ended up going back to my bristle brush 😖

Shame they couldve easily used heavier duty chain-links and had a quality product. Saw a lodge version that looks better, but it didnt have a handle for it. I see planned-obsolescence everywhere I look, lately.
