I've put a few of these in for folks. Easiest way is to purchase a 4x4 ground spike anchor and attach these to a 4x4 about 36" off the ground or so. Depending on the mount, you might need to attach a piece of treated 2x4 if you need the extra width for mounting it, using the best outdoor screws for the job. The ground spike works great and eliminates the need to do any cement work.

Almost pulled the trigger even though I don't need it, then I saw some video reviews of the leaks. Oof pass

Does the deal require that you have prime? Code doesn't work for me (but I don't have prime). Didn't see it clearly stated as a requirement though.
Nah. I think deal is dead. I have Prime.

Anyone have personal experience with this? Been looking for a while and thinking I was going to go with Giraffe 🦒
Not this brand, but somewhat similar in specs/style. A word of caution if you do buy something like this, don't leave it unreeled for extended time (days). mine refuses to rewind now. Guessing the torsion spring or whatever got stretched or popped out of slot.

Giraffe is coming out with a ground mounted option
I have seen that and have mixed feelings. its a frame with spikes in the ground. a 36" mailbox post holder with 4x4 would be more than sufficient to hold this steady. I have giraffe 5/8 one and its awesome. I keep it shaded as well to protect from direct sun exposure.

Stay with Giraffe. They are absolutely worth the premium. Also. 1/2" x 100-ft hose? Seriously, what sort of flow do you actually expect to get out of the end of that?!

You missed the point. Posting a Chinese Pinyin style address, which Apple factories in China also use, provide no useful information regarding the quality of product or legitimacy of the producer. It makes no sense at all.

pain to install? Looks like it just bolts on? what am i missing here?
I had to sink posts in concrete and then bolt it to that. So, it was a multi day project. If you are able to put it directly into the side of your house, it's probably pretty easy.

A quick fact check using Copilot may have given you some pause before posting that comment….

Yes — iPhones are increasingly being made in India, but with a twist. 🇮🇳📱

🏭 What's Really Happening

• Final Assembly in India: Many iPhones sold in the U.S. are now assembled in India, primarily at Foxconn's massive facility near Chennai and Tata Electronics' plant in Hosur A B.
• Parts Still Come from China: Despite the "Made in India" label, the vast majority of components — around 1,000 per iPhone — are still manufactured in China. These parts are shipped to India for final assembly and packaging A.
• Tariff Strategy: Apple's shift to India is largely driven by tariff avoidance. Assembling in India helps Apple sidestep U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods and Indian tariffs on Chinese imports A C.

I'm a few years removed from hs physics.

That said I'd imagine the water pressure loss from friction (what you alluded to), is pretty negligible and should a non-factor in deciding whether to get this 100-ft hose or not.

there is also the issue of flow, the amount of mass hitting a Target of, of a flow of 4 gallons per minute versus 1.5 gallons per minute, that power is noticeable

For a quick comparison using an average water pressure of 60 psi, a 5/8-inch garden hose provides significantly more water flow than a 1/2-inch hose.
Gallons Per Minute (GPM) Comparison
* 1/2-inch hose: approximately 7.5 GPM
* 5/8-inch hose: approximately 14 GPM
The 5/8-inch hose delivers an additional 6.5 GPM, representing an increase in flow rate of about 86.7%. This substantial difference is why a larger diameter hose is more efficient for tasks requiring more water volume over a shorter time.
