• Final Assembly in India: Many iPhones sold in the U.S. are now assembled in India, primarily at Foxconn's massive facility near Chennai and Tata Electronics' plant in Hosur A B.
• Parts Still Come from China: Despite the "Made in India" label, the vast majority of components — around 1,000 per iPhone — are still manufactured in China. These parts are shipped to India for final assembly and packaging A.
• Tariff Strategy: Apple's shift to India is largely driven by tariff avoidance. Assembling in India helps Apple sidestep U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods and Indian tariffs on Chinese imports A C.
That said I'd imagine the water pressure loss from friction (what you alluded to), is pretty negligible and should a non-factor in deciding whether to get this 100-ft hose or not.
