I hope that helps understand a little better. If you need it, shop the best devices that fits your needs today and meets the performance as well. Unless we have some serious global event, expect things to be tight and little to no price dumping. Also expect to pay for the tariffs cost impacts. I managed global movement of product into billions of devices and WE pay the tariffs, period.
I'm buying another 2TB drive for a new laptop (wanted to put 4TB in there, but alas the bios won't support it. Damn you Dell!!!).
I won't buy chinese, so I've thought about the 990 Evo Plus, but it's only $20 cheaper than the 990 Pro. Would I notice the difference? Probably not, but for $20 (no tax) it's probably worth it to go Pro... Or so I tell myself.... I think..
