- Why is this a deal? Some members have CC's that earn 5% CB at office supply stores (INK and Amex Simply Cash). Others need to meet minimum CC spend.

The most powerful feature is the overcharge. You can cause more than $200 to be charge on the card. You can't do that with a credit card for obvious reasons.

Yes I don't remember ever having a problem online either. The only problem I've ever remember having was with a Mastercard at Costco. I have later heard that if I use it as a debit card there it would have gone through.
I've used them in grocery stores plenty of times. Regarding stacking, a lot of times it depends on the POS system on how it works. These can be run as debit also using the last 4 digits as the pin so pretty much anywhere that accepts debit is fair game. I like to use at restaurants also as I know I won't need a refund/return. If there's a chance I'm returning something, I'm not using these as the return process can be a headache (time for credit, which gift card was it). The whole deal here is buying them with the Chase Ink Cash for 5% for office supply purchases. I do $25K a year for each of my cards.
(Never did this before) So like if I buy 9 GCs per day in store for 5 days, can I meet $9k of the CC spend?
