I can't speak about ceramic coatings specifically (or for this particular applicator), but I use a small amount of dish soap and warm water on buffing pads. Then wring it out and let it air dry (place on an air vent to expedite drying).

These are expensive for what they are (tons on Amazon for cheaper per applicator) but its recommended to discard applicators for ceramic coating. The particles can harden and embed themselves which would cause scratching later. Debatable if its like a leather or cloth sio2 if it matters but external ceramic applicators are best used as a per project disposable.

These are low quality foam pads. I would not be applying ceramic coating with them. If you do, disgard after used since the ceramic coating will harden the foam.

These are great, long lasting pads for traditional waxing/paint sealants. There are way better, and cheaper options for true ceramic application (note: everything these days says ceramic/graphene, but if it doesn't get rock hard when it dries, it most likely is high solids ceramic.
