This is far from a slick deal. These routinely sell for $500 in excellent condition with low shutter counts from KEH and MPB with a warranty. This is a great camera but ancient by digital standards.

Unfortunately, Woot is turning more and more toward taking advantage of overblown pricing. Photography supplies - especially when the transition to mirrorless came in - have jumped considerably. Woot profits more and more on the average consumer, having little knowledge of this. They even do it with TV's, and if you have a problem, they're not always easy to deal with in returns. I generally stay away from them on larger ticket items.
Horrible price, and the D810 I got after it, 10 years ago, was much sharper with the same 36MP sensor resolution. I wouldn't buy something older than the D810 (quality lenses will cost a lot either way - why not stick them on a better body), but at this price, a used D850 with low shutter actuations would make more sense instead.
Even the $494 used-like new 40k-actuation D800 on the same page would be better.
I think anyone looking at this high camera-body price would already know that this thing is ancient, and how much improved the follow-ups were. There's more to a camera than pixel count in the output file.
