Great game, but it doesn't need Middle Earth since it doesn't really follow the lore. Easy to make spiritual sequels

How does it hold up in 2025? I never played it before. I played the Batman Arkham trilogy lately and only liked the first two. My understanding is that the combat in this is similar style.

I've never gone back and replayed any of the Arkham games, not saying that they're bad, but once I've played them, I'm pretty much done. This game has a way of staying fresh that I haven't gotten anywhere else. Not going to give away much, but it holds up very well even after completion. Texture packs can also take the graphics to a modern levels. You will struggle a better game for $2.49.

Agreed, I didn't have too much time to play video games, have two very young kids, but I continued on and off with this game for 4 years since it has every mechanic I love in one.1) Stealth2) RPG like character development with skills.3) Hack and Slash so easy to pick up after not playing for a few months.4) You can turn mobs into allies.5) You can turn boss mobs into allies.6) Castle Siege7) Castle DefenceMany more, but this is truly one of the good ones if you like ARPG hack and slashers.
