Xbox controllers are no less reliable than PlayStation controllers. Both use the same manufacturer(Alps) for the analog sticks so stick drift isn't really any different.

I have around 8 Xbox controllers varying from ten years old to one year old. The only problems I've ever had have been related to kids spilling liquids or dropping them.

Xbox isn't going anywhere.

Xbox button mapping is far more intuitive as a gamer since the original NES days. I know exactly where the ABXY buttons are and never have to look. With my PS5, to this day I still have to look down for anytime QTE scenarios in games because Sony wanted to be different. I hate the choice Sony made for their button icons.

Interesting that these are $79.99 at my Target, but this seller had it listed for $117. At $55 it's worth checking out but seems like it was marked way up to appear as a better deal.

Microsoft always goes all out with their special edition designs. Too bad their actual reliability is terrible. And xbox is kinda a sinking ship

Good luck with a new player learning tutorials/button locations with this Klingon-esque nonsense, yuck

If this was a proper special edition it would include a rechargeable battery. This takes AA says it lasts 40 hours.
