My goodness that is an extremely inflated MSRP that SD is showing.

Please ignore it and consider it about $35 - $40 for the three at true retail which still makes it a deal in my opinion.

The 7049 with the carabiner is $15 alone $5 more and you get two more nice compact knives that are built well and solid. The orange one is built like a tank. No high end steel but my Sanrenmu all hold an edge well and more importantly never ever loose parts or screws. Have near perfect blade centering and non wobbly baldes. Very nice at this price point and good value. The carabiner clip one is my favorite knives at any price.

Think of them like replacements for the old nice american brand budget knives that can no longer be had. Yes they are China made but not China trash like you see at the flea markets. I have no idea why companies like Winchester do not get good China knives to slap a label versus the low end stuff they do.

I like the carbineer knife and have carried it in my pocket at work for the last 2 years. It is a great knife and I can carry it on my keychain but still have a fairly sized blade available.

Same - I use 'em regularly. Stay sharp and good enough deal for decent knives. The carabiner one also has a locking blade mechanism to open it with a button to push in so no accidental slices.

Good set of quality knives -- especially at this price point. I ordered a set a few weeks ago and they got to my home in 3 business days with standard shipping.

Do a deal alert if you missed them. They have been a recurring deal for some years now.

Decent knives for the money. Solid, sharp, hold an edge fairly well.

Last time this company blew 'em out, at $6 apiece, I bought 6-8 and keep them "around." It's an essential, daily tool. Everyone should have multiple.

Absolutely worth the cost here - for next time, which there will absolutely be.

Also, who TF keeps down-voting these really helpful posts, above??? Toss that MF. 😡

That all depends on what you want a knife for. The clip on knife far beats the Ozark Trail for me when I am kayaking or fishing. Beats it when i want something moderately small and super light that I can drop in pocket or use as a keychain. Saying one knife is better or beats another is kind of silly it is like saying there is one particular vehicle that works for everybody and we all should be driving a F350 or something.
