doesn't work well if you got a phone case. my phone case is CLEAR, and it cannot charge consistently. starts then stops within a few seconds

I wish wireless chargers would run cooler, so that batteries won't degrade as fast. Otherwise it's great for the convienence to just put your phone on the charger without thinking much about it.

I bought this the last go around and it's been great. I keep it in the kitchen it's also great for hen people come over and ask for a charger. Just have them throw it on there and they're good to go

It most certainly does, now does this produce high enough temps to be a problem, it's not going to cause thermal runaway or anything dangerous. I returned mine because it was so inefficient and made my phone excessively hot around the camera area of all places.

i think it depends. p9proxl with a magsafe case and it still charges well (though the charger itself is not magsafe).
probably important to properly align the phone with the charging coil in the charger. it may be higher or lower depending on the phone size.
