At full charge this thing struggles to suck up anything the size of a cheerio. This is mostly for bread crumbs

Junk. Weak suction, non-replaceable battery, limited run-time, long charge-time. Spend a bit more get one with a battery system that swaps to other tools. You'll spend more replacing this one and it'll end up in a landfill.

Performs surprisingly well, as long as you remember to clean the lint filter regularly. Only "con" is how quickly it runs out of power, but that seems par for the course with a hand vacuum...

Bought one for my aging parents 2 years ago. Works quite well for their purposes, picking up small first around the edges and spot cleaning. Their caregiver just requested one for her family. It was around $22.37 couple days ago. Not a big enough deal but solid product, from what I could see. YMMV.

I have one of these. Handy for quick and small clean ups. Rechargeable battery is dead after 3 years. When I keep it plugged in, right after that I get about 20-30 seconds run time at slower and slower RPMs and then it dies.

8 volts, really! My four year old 14 volt one can still suck a golf ball .... with at least 15 minutes of run time. But, it was apparently the unicorn amongst all of BD's DBs. Seems even the subsequent Lion ones after that of similar specs lost battery life very quickly judging by the reviews.

one of the only portable vacuums that has lasted. works well, just make sure to empty the dust bag. all others I've bought have had the batteries go fully dead in a few months and won't hold a charge. this one is great - I actually moved and lost the charger, emailed them to see if I can buy another one, and they just sent a whole new unit for free.

only downside, assuming this is the same model, is that the charger is really only designed for it to be wall mounted, which you don't always want to do

Had mine for 4-5 months now. Decent vacuum for the price. Only complaint would be cleaning out is a bit of a pain. Besides that good value for the money i think.

The key to these, as others have said, is to keep the filter clean. I wash mine with dish soap and let it air dry about once a month. Personally, I love Dustbusters and have never been without one (or more) in over 30yrs. They are perfect for cleaning cat litter from around the litterbox and for small pick ups in the kitchen. For me, the charge lasts quite a while, but who needs it to run for more than a minute, or two for small pickups?
