About this Game:
- Completely rebuilt from the ground up using Naughty Dog's latest PS5 engine technology to improve every visual detail, The Last of Us experience has been faithfully enhanced with more realistic lighting and atmosphere, more intricate environments and creative reimaginings of familiar spaces.
- In a ravaged civilization, where infected and hardened survivors run rampant, Joel, a weary protagonist, is hired to smuggle 14-year-old Ellie out of a military quarantine zone. However, what starts as a small job soon transforms into a brutal cross-country journey.
- Includes the complete The Last of Us single-player story and celebrated prequel chapter, Left Behind, which explores the events that changed the lives of Ellie and her best friend Riley forever.

It has accessibility settings like slow down time while aiming and crafted items not breaking for those looking for an easier playthrough along with pinging objects with your echo hearing so you don't miss anything.
It's also a part of PS+ for those with the games tier
edit: for those wondering about part 2 the normal ps4 game has those settings and only real major difference is the new game mode. It has an upgrade path of $10 if you have the ps4 version.
Updated graphics, nearly zero load times, those accessibility settings, no online mode and it's for the PS5.
The PS4 Remaster which you can still play on PS5 but have it loaded on the external drive to save main drive storage space.

The show is great! It follows along VERY close to the game - some of them you can pause the exact same scene from the game and the show. For the second season I played the game for a bit and then watched the same scene in the show just to see the difference. Highly recommend them both! Although the second game is a bit depressing in the end.

No. The TV series only ruined itself. This is still a great game. The show can't change that. I'll never understand people who think one thing can ruin another. It doesn't alter the existing good thing.
