Pros:
1. Prints very well and fast. Documents and presentations look great but it's not a photo printer.
2. Scanning and copying look very good.
3. Rarely loses wi-fi connection. It's usually because there's a change on my router.
4. High yield toners last a long time. And with OEM toners, I've never had a spill or smudge.
Cons:
1. Canon OEM toners are the only ones that seem to work consistently in the machine. I've tried various 3rd party toners and they either leak or print horribly. If you buy this machine, I wouldn't bother with 3rd party toners and expect to pay for OEMs.
2. Never found any good deals for OEM toners. I ended up buying them through Staples with their store rewards credit. Which you then use to buy more toner.
It's a great machine, especially at $199. However, it may not include any toner cartridges (couldn't tell from the listing). I'd do the math on it before buying if you have to buy toner separately.

Solid printer though, it prints very fast and the print quality always looks good.. I've never had any connection issues with it either, it lives hardwired via ethernet in my basement and has always woken up, warmed up, and started printing whenever I've needed to print random things.

Wait ... what?
Are you trolling?
That's literally the exact opposite of conventional wisdom.
Brother is by far the best printer brand in terms of reliability and cartridge price. They just fall a little short on print quality.
Canon and Epson are neck and neck for best print quality, although I'm not sure Epson even does laser anymore. But they both do nickel and dime in crappy ways. I have the exact printer that's being sold here and the cartridges are more than the printer. People are saying 350, but the high capacity set is more like $550 if you go OEM. The printers are also notoriously bad with non OEM inks. I went through 4 brands before I finally found one that works, and I still end up buying brand name for black, because it's the only truly reliable brand.
HP is known for being garbage. They pack in the most features for the lowest price, but they make it up in ink/toner cost just like Canon and Epson. Print quality is better than Brother, but not as good as Canon or Epson. They have by far the worst reliability scores and typically only perform well for about a year or two. They have buggy software that often includes bloatware and adware. They are widely considered the worst of the worst, although I will say given my experience with this Canon MF741-Cdw I might have been better off with one, because their toner isn't AS bad.

If you buy this for professional/office use, ignore everything I said.
Agreed that HP is hot garbage. I used them for years but will never again.
