I grabbed one of these for $179 this week. Haven't taken it out of the box yet but I'm on the fence with whether it's worth switching to a battery powered string trimmer since I already have a gas trimmer.

I think they are planning to invest more into quik-lok ecosystem. They already have a gen2 power head and attachments. My guess is the next iteration would be a dual battery power head.

It is for in store only. When I picked this up at the store, the price tag showed $249.99 but it rang up at the clearance price of $179.99.

You should be able to tap or click on the "See in-store clearance price" under the normal price. That should show the $179.99 price.
