Be sure you don't print this on textured PEI plates as it'll tear them up.

To anyone new printing CoPE I suggest researching how to before doing so.

Reviews look bad. Any reason?

It's CoPE. It's hard to print, but it has it's qualities. I just don't think people understand the uses for it and they try to use it like PLA or PETG which it's not.

The listing: For the best results, we recommend using Panchroma CoPE with a textured PEI plate along with Magigoo Original for optimal sticking.

I've never heard of CoPE. Is it better than ASA? I print with PETG all the time and I've always considered ASA the upgraded PETG.

odd that they've moved away from the "prints just like PLA" narrative.

ive gone though 4-5kg, prints fine. nothing too crazy. do your temp tower and flow rate tests. to calibrate.

I've been doing it on textured pei without glue. again, nothing crazy.

I have had good results with this filament when using the settings that they recommend on the product page. In my experience it prints very nicely and can produce some really consistent surfaces. I have used it with a Bambu Lab P1S and A1 Mini. The rolls work fine in the AMS. I have had no problem with it damaging build plates using a CryoGrip Glacier and a Cool Plate Supertac. I've gone through 4 or 5 rolls, and only one was wet enough to require me to dry it after a print failure, although YMMV on that. Anecdotally, it seems to me like it's some sort of hybrid between PLA and PETG, and it doesn't adhere well to either, although it adheres well enough to both that neither make a super effective support material for it.

Most haven't. Some companies even say their CoPE is PLA. I'm very glad Polymaker stopped though.

Does it have qualities other than damaging textured pei plates? 'Cause that's pretty much all that comes up on a quick google search.
