I asked ChatGPT (which is many cases in my experience is incorrect, even though it makes factual type statements), and it said it is responsive and soft, while the ASICS gel nimbus is softer and less responsive. It noted that these brooks are max cushioned though

I've had them for a few days ago and the cushioning feels better than my Asics (not sure which but it has amplifoam) w/ arch support insoles, and Skechers Arch Fit Max Support. Haven't walked in them long, but walking in them feels great for my flat feet. I tried these on at a store first before ordering online and found out I need 2E wide. The number size fits the same as other shoes (12). I ordered the black with blue trim online and it looks great. Even got compliments

They're fantastic for standing, I went to a running store and got my feet / gate measured and these were the shoes they recommended me. Most comfortable shoe I've ever owned... I wear them walking and standing on concrete for 8+ hours a day

These are very comfortable walking shoes. Took them on a trip, everyone else had foot pain by the end of the day I was feeling great. Have not run in them yet. I have flat feet so I think they will be way to squishy. Maybe good for leisurely runs, these are not stability shoes. So far my impression of Brooks based on the Ghost Max is good. I think I will try more from this brand going forward. Been an Asics and New Balance guy for a while.
