Not sure if it's regional, but ships and sold by Amazon. Ships 9/1-9/15. Didn't need one right now, but this is a top tier Gen 4 drive for a DRAM-less Gen 4 price.

I bit. Shipping time is far out, will give me time to reconsider if I actually need it or not....

OOS yesterday but I just bought one. Availability seems intermittent. Shipping time listed is 1-2+ months.

Sad I missed this. Slick price for a DRAM SSD with these specs, and the beefiest heatsink I've seen.

It may disappear but as of this moment it's available.
I actually cancelled my order because my MOBO/GPU situation doesn't have room for that ridiculous heat spreader. 😄

You don't use the included heat spreader on your Mobo then. I've used the 1tb version as my boot drive without the heat spreader for a few years and just recently upgraded to a PCI5 drive and relegated the 1tb to an external USB4 enclosure. I ordered two of these to use in my son's PC so I can take his Gen3 drives for a NAS enclosure that only gets PCI 3.0 speeds.

This is a good deal! Not sure why no votes? With Dram and Higher TBW than SN850x.

From what I read about this drive it produces a lot of heat. That's why I didn't consider taking the thing off. Other drives don't need one. I ended up buying a different one.
