Plugs into my AppleTV 4k (from my Denon receiver) just fine.
Built-in OS/GUI is cheapie, but who cares; just flip it to HDMI and use the AppleTV remote; that's all that matters. It's a screen, nothing more.
The basic picture is not bright - my Epson 1080p projector from about 5 years ago is considerably brighter. Don't even think about using this during the day in an open room, but at night it would be fine for kids and less demanding users. It's daytime, I have some light bleed from windows, and it's fully visible, but dim.
That said, for $26 I have a picture spashed against an entire bedroom wall. I didn't deploy the screen panel; I'm sure that would make it brighter and better.
For those wondering: It's fully watchable. Once the windows are closed/sealed and lights all off, if there's no other light in the room, it's fine. It's not great, but it's fine. For $26.
For a kid, this would be a fun novelty, and if it breaks or dims more, no big deal.
