I had a horrible experience with Google phones before. Very buggy software and build quality issues. Has it gotten any better? What's been your experience?
Pixel 6 had a crap modem. I traded that in for a P7P and I got the green screen of death, and even though I got a free screen replacement there were reports that replacements still suffered from the issue, so I traded that in for the P8P and it was mostly solid except for the fingerprint reader which didn't work half the time. Traded in the P8P for the P9P XL and have had zero issues in the 1-year I've had it.
I went ahead and purchased 2 of these P9Ps for my parents to upgrade them from the P7. I think they'll enjoy the telephoto and macro camera upgrade from their old phones.

Thank you for the input. It's really helpful hearing from someone who has had each Gen of Pixel flagship.
Other than jumping through a few hoops having to cancel the Verizon plan, this was the best phone deal ever for me. Total cost for the 256 GB pro xl was $423. Other than this being a little larger than I prefer, it's the best phone ever

I had a 6 Pro and used it for a year. No issues, other than the screen eventually cracked because of the dumb curved screen design, edge exposed.I traded it in on the first 9 Pro XL I got a year ago, after I had the screen replaced under my free credit card insurance. The 9 Pro XL has been the best phone I've used by far.
The 2 6a's we bought from Best buy unlocked for $150 in 2023. also had no issues. I still use one of them with graphene os strictly as a hotspot device, works great, unlimited tethering.
i get the feeling pixel 10 launch sales are not going to be like pixel 9 or pixel 8. hope I'm wrong, but the recent lack of pixel sales since spring is odd
IMHO: better way to use this is to order from store.google.com and doing a price match. Google store offers additional benefits of store credit if you have one.google.com; they also offer Gemini Pro 1 year plus 1 year google one storage. If you do a price match, make sure they check the Best Buy price right away and get an email from them; usually, they inform you that you should wait till the phone is delivered (by that time, the Best Buy price might expire).Note: you will still have the option of cancelling the order, in case you change your mind or get a better offer.
Google Store does price match? Or is it Best Buy doing price match?
when did you get that pixel 8a for cheap? did you go the same day it was posted on slickdeals i would think they went out quick. did the same deal happen for 9a at target?

I have had a lot of Pixels over the years, and have never had an issue.

The 8a deal was going on for a while but I posted both of those pixel 9 pro XL deals so I suppose I had a headstart
I didn't see similar deal for Pixel 9a but right now you can pixel 9a from BB for $299 with similar activation (and cancellation) with Verizon https://www.bestbuy.com/product/g...source=PDP
