They have a market cap of $177 billion. They are the most valued travel agency company in the world. Booking.com is the "Amazon" of travel companies. I think you'll be ok. 😂

i'd avoid flying Asiana by any mean, unless you are so poor and have to travel internationally.

Per share doesn't mean anything, just fyi for future reference. You probably want to start with market cap.

Booking.com is reliable and reputable but there is one important detail you should be aware of. Purchasing airfare through booking.com is considered an OTA (online travel agency), so if there are problems, modify or cancel ticket you have to deal with the OTA (booking.com) instead of directly contacting the airline. If you were to contact the airline they would refer you back to where your ticket was purchased (booking.com).

The major Asian airlines are so much better than U.S. airlines that it's not even funny -- better planes, better service, better cabin crews.

Not about air, but in Japan booking.com has recently garnered attention because a number of travelers have discovered that their hotel reservations via booking.com were non-existent once in Japan. The Japanese travel industry has been pushing the company to remedy the situation, and there have been fewer reports of the same in the Japanese press, but you should still be careful. The speculated reason for the non-existent reservations is the way booking.com (and most online travel agencies) broker the rooms which may go through multiple wholesale layers, one or more of which happens to be all gas and no substance.

If the company's market value made it customer-centric, UnitedHealthcare would be everyone's favorite health insurance company.
