My experience with calling costco is that they do not confirm prices over the phone to avoid price matches from competitors.
I meant confirm stock in store. The price in the app is accurate.

It's apparently accurate based on my experience this past weekend. I used it to identify which stores closest to me had it on "clearance" price. I then called the store to confirm they had it in stock because they will only share how many they have, but not the price.
So in short, the costco app indicated it was in stock at a particular location; I then used that link/app to verify if that Costco location had it on clearance price. Before I drove there, I called the store first to confirm if they had it in stock; if their inventory is low, you can even ask to have someone physically verify if it's on the floor.
I scored one this past weekend, and also had $500 in Costco cash cards, which brought the total otd price to $600. Couldn't be happier with this deal!
