I've had this set for over a decade and still holding up strong (stored and never used the cushions). The weather just passes right through the set.

Thanks OP in for one. Really rare these days to see reviews of products from people owning 10+ years and coming back and saying it's a good product.

I've seen some of these that look identical to the older, heavy duty stuff. But instead of being made with solid bar, it's now made with thin wall tube.
Any way to find out the weight on these?

Ditto. I've had mine for 12 years now, and it's been fully exposed to weather -sun, snow, rain, etc- the entire time. Really impressed with how it's help up, especially considering that it came from Walmart. (The BHG grill I bought at the same time barely lasted three years.)

The patio set is just starting to show some surface rust, so I may give it a coat of paint next year, but structurally it's still going strong.

Agreed to this.

I've had my set for 20 years and it still looks brand new. Made it though the 90s and early 2000s. Even had a tornado come through and it didn't even move or get torn up. Took my house but the set remained grounded and in perfect shape

I bought a similar set for the same price 5-6 yrs ago. Used it for a couple of yrs and sold it for about the same price I paid on offer up.
This seems like a good deal to me.

As many others experience, have had mine for ~10 years. No issues other than sprucing it up with a fresh coat of Rustoleum about 2 years ago. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, especially at this price.

I ordered this set on Sat and it was delivered today, Monday. Comes in 2 boxes, one with the table, and the other had the chairs. Had to unbox the chairs on the front porch as that box was too heavy and big for one person to move without a dolly. Took longer to unwrap all the pieces than to assemble everything. Having a socket and ratchet for the chairs will save alot of time then using the provide mini wrench. The provided hex key for the table assembly was fine. Probably an hour total to unbox and assemble with just one person and 2 self appointed quality control cats, that had to sign off on every step of the assembly process 😸

Does anyone know what the weight limit is on these chairs? How sturdy would they be for a bigger person?
